March for Music is a fundraising campaign held March–April. This initiative offers organizations a purposeful way to support music education, student enrichment, and scholarships for students across North Mississippi.
Purpose of the Initiative
Music education supports student success by fostering creativity, discipline, academic achievement, and emotional growth. Through March for Music, participating organizations help us:
How the Service Initiative Works
Organizations may participate in one of the following ways:
Not a member of an organization
Individuals may also choose to donate an amount inspired by their birth year, graduation class year, or the founding year of their favorite organization. (Example: Class of 2015 = $20.15)

Recognition
Participating organizations will be recognized as March for Music Partners and receive a March for Music participation logo for marketing, promotional, and social media use.

- Provide scholarships for North Mississippi students
- Expand access to music enrichment programs
- Raise awareness of the importance of music in schools
How the Service Initiative Works
Organizations may participate in one of the following ways:
- Founding Year Giving
Members or chapters donate an amount tied to their founding year
(Example: 2008 = $20.08, $200.80, or $2008) - Organizational Giving
The chapter selects one collective donation amount
Not a member of an organization
Individuals may also choose to donate an amount inspired by their birth year, graduation class year, or the founding year of their favorite organization. (Example: Class of 2015 = $20.15)
